Imagine eating something that slows down your recovery. Does that sound like something you’d like to experience? No it does not.
Well I want you to think long and hard about this today. Sugar… accounts for trips to the dentist, visits to me as your doctor and a variety of other health issues, ranging from added stress, weight gain to even cancer.
Sugar, the stuff that makes things so sweet, has a sinister side that’s anything but sweet.
If you’re ready to STOP using sugar, and you’re ready to break off from this very, very unhealthy relationship with sugar, just let me say it doesn’t have to be hard.
Here’s the simple way to break away. Start by getting to know your enemy. Sugar is insidious, it is everywhere. It’s lurking in a lot of foods you wouldn’t expect it to be. It’s in your salad dressings and even your pasta sauces.
So what can you do? You can help yourself get rid of this addiction by reading labels. You see… if sugar is one of the ingredients on the label, put it back and don’t eat it.
Also, be aware of artificial sweeteners, which can be hazardous to your health. They can be really, really bad for you. Look for natural sweeteners like Stevia that can be a good alternative to sugar.
Thirsty?
You should not drink sugar-laden drinks like Coca Cola because they are loaded with lots and lots of calories and they can and will make you thirstier. Choose pH water to quench your thirst if you have it. If you want, you can discuss ways to break your sugar habit and boost your immune system with chiropractic care.
