What a privilege it has been over the past year to serve our community! And a wild ride it has been for many of us.
We’ve seen a re-elected U.S. President, a man free-fall from the edge of space, a triumphant showing of the 2012 Olympic Games in London, Hurricane Sandy wreaking havoc on many, and countless other significant happenings. Some of us got beat up pretty bad this past year. For others, it was the best year yet. Regardless of which category you fall into, I want to wish you a Happy New Year!
One thing that I love about the ringing in of the New Year is the renewed sense of hope and anticipation that we can live lives of greatness and contribution. We can work together and individually to make our own lives and the lives of those around us better.
In a shrinking world of technologies like Facebook and Skype conferencing, the New Year promises to bring us all a bit closer together as a global community than the year before. So sit back, have some reflection of 2012…and get ready for a ROCKIN’ 2013!!!
