In a recent interview in Success magazine, rock n roll icon and music legend Bob Dylan tells us he has been around the block a few times. He’s learned many lessons along the way. Here a few:
– Forget about today. Dylan has made it his mission to always look ahead.
– Shun the naysayers. There are always people who will try to keep you down.
– Create a personal revolution. Make your own unique mark on the world.
– Always remain innovative. Dylan constantly seeks challenges. He has had to redesign his sound several times throughout his illustrious career.
– Never rest on your laurels. There’s always someone out there ready to take your place. Gotta keep moving.
– Bet on yourself. The best investment you can make is in the six inches between your ears.
– Stand apart from the crowd. It’s tempting to just do what everyone else is doing, but what fun is that? By blending in, you diminish yourself and don’t allow your originality to pour forth.
– Surprise! Leave your comfort zone. Success is relatively easy to find outside of your comfort zone, because so few people go there that there is very little competition!
