Trouble breathing?

If you’ve ever had trouble breathing, if you have any friends or family with asthma, you’ll want to read this article.

A recent report by the Australian Spinal Research Foundation confirms that there is a link between chiropractic and the reduction of asthma symptoms. According to aMacquarieUniversityresearcher, the study involved hundreds of people suffering with asthma symptoms. Here’s what they found out.

“When an asthma sufferer is under the anxiety of a looming asthma attack, the levels of the hormone cortisol increase. This acute increase in cortisol through a number of mechanisms can bring on an asthma attack,” says Dr. Hayek. “Levels of the stress hormone cortisol steadily decreased during the trial, and levels of immunological markers (immunoglobulin A) steadily rose.”

Which is a scientific way of suggesting that reducing “nervous system stress” with chiropractic adjustments may have a positive effect on those susceptible of having an asthma attack.

While chiropractic isn’t a treatment that erradicates asthma, it tells you that by reducing tension in the asthma sufferer’s nervous system, the symptom called asthma can be helped and reduced. If you need a check up CALL me:
