Ask Mike what he’d do if you gave him Chiropractic adjustments and saved him from paying RM85,000
for an unneeded ulcer operation and drugs.
There is a better way.
When pharmaceutical companies advertise that prescription drugs can save ulcer patients like Mike from surgery, obviously it’s not a good thing, except for the drug companies making money and causing a national health care crisis. How can they say that drugs reduce the healthcare costs when they mark drugs up 1,800% in certain cases.
In 1976, the year before the introduction of the first ulcer drug, there were 155,000 ulcer operations. Most, if not all operations may have been prevented with a change of diet, exercise, Chiropractic adjustments and nutritional counseling.
This unfortunate lack of information is typical of pharmaceutical advertisements. The concept is to have you, the consumer, believe that the anti-ulcer drugs cure the ulcer, when in fact they only suppress the symptoms that result in the formation of an ulcer. Yes, the drug will prevent a RM85,000 surgery, but not the ultimate effects of the lifestyle that Mike has chosen for himself.
Education and information is a must with an ulcer patient.
Q.Why does the patient have the ulcer?
- Nervous stress is an important factor. The stress seems to cause a failure of the “pituitary gland” to control hormonic balance and to maintain the proper healing rate. One effective and least expensive alternative method is a protomorphogen. It helps the body to control the release, distribution and function of the hormones responsible for the stomach and it’s acidity.
Now think about this for a moment. Anti-ulcer drugs decrease the acidity in the stomach, thereby alleviating the pain. Within a few months, the same ulcer will flare up, promoting the patient to again take more drugs for relief. This cycle can be endless and very profitable for the pharmaceutical companies.
You can do what Mike is doing and waste your money on relief, or you can allow the body to heal itself with the use of Chiropractic and nutrition.
Health is not something that you can buy back with a drug that suppresses the symptoms. Health must be something you work on daily. Symptoms or no symptoms. Prescription drugs are not, I repeat, NOT our best hope for providing a cost-savings.
Drugs do not improve lives and save money. Drugs suppress symptoms that are there for a reason.
ASK YOURSELF, DO DRUGS LIKE MIKE TAKES SAVE LIVES?
DO DRUGS REALLY SAVE MONEY, OR MAKE MONEY?
HEALTH IS AN ADVENTURE.
YOU MAKE THE CHOICE. YOU HAVE TO.
